Accident Compensation Solicitors Group is a group formed by Elaine Hughes, Robert Webb and Saffora Choudri who are lawyers who specialise in obtaining compensation for people injured in accidents.

ACSG was formed as a response to the current trend for motor insurers and claims companies who advertise on television and in the newspapers, selling claims on to firms of solicitors who pay £100's to buy the claim in. What accident victims are not told is the money paid by the solicitors firm cannot be recovered from the party who caused the accident. Sometimes this leaves just a few hundred pounds to run the claim. ACSG believe some claims are being undersettled.

The message from ACSG members is not to let anyone else arrange your accident claim. By choosing your own solicitor's firm and insisting your claim is handled throughout by someone who is experienced in accident claims means you will receive the proper amount of compensation you deserve. ACSG members also recommend your claim is handled by a local firm where you can actually meet the person handling your claim so they can properly assess the effects the accident on you.
